For a sermon to be genuinely biblical, the text must set the agenda as the foundation of the message.


“The law” can mean the Ten Commandments, the Pentateuch, or the whole Old Testament.

The only way for right and wrong to be absolute, objective, or fixed, is to contend that it must come from on high – from an immutably righteous sovereign God.

Biblically, the brain does not generate the soul or consciousness in and of itself. The spark from God generates it.

It is not possible to study, develop and apply the doctrines of grace if we do not reflect God’s grace in everything we do.

God is just, his justice is fair, and we can be justified by Jesus.

Rome’s fall was more of a mutation into something new when viewed in light of world history.

To grow your faith this year, remember that God is on your side, that challenges are overcome by his power alone, and be sure to be aware of his working in your life.

God’s love goes to the nations, irrespective of ethnicity, and brings near the blessings of his grace in Jesus. Our love must be transcendent like that.
