Assurance of salvation teaches us to know we are saved, informs us of what God has overcome, and it puts battles with the flesh in the proper perspective.

Overwhelming guilt, believing that we’re beyond help, and feelings of unworthiness can keep us from receiving God’s loving grace and forgiveness.

God is just, his justice is fair, and we can be justified by Jesus.

Just as we today look back in history to Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for our salvation, so too the people who lived before Christ looked forward to His sacrifice for their salvation.

Death is the most difficult reality we’ll ever face. However, we have every reason to believe that we can conqueror death through Jesus Christ. As such, we conquer death by trusting in the One who already has.
